The International Organization for Migration (IOM) shares its twice-yearly recommendations on migration and mobility with the governments of the rotating Presidencies of the Council of the European Union (EU) which assume the role every six months. These suggestions are guided by IOM’s Migration Governance Framework (MiGOF). The six-month incumbent Presidencies work together in groups of three in the interest of continuity and coherency.
