IOM MHD to contribute to the 20th European Health Forum Gastein, 4-6 October 2017 in Bad Hofgastein, Austria
IOM MHD RO Brussels has been invited to participate at the 20th European Health Forum Gastein: Health in All Politics - a better future for Europe, taking place on the 4-6 October 2017.
The 20th edition of the forum aims at a deeper discussion, taking the concept of health in all policies to the political level of policy implementation. The forum will also aim at building bridges between the different policy areas, guided by the European values of universality, access to good quality care, equity and solidarity.
Represented by Roumyana Petrova-Benedict, IOM MHD Regional Office in Brussels, will actively contribute to the panel discussion on "Exploring the needs and future developments of immunisation records in the EU: Better vaccine policies through coherent evidence" taking place on the 5th October. This session aims to gather stakeholder views from five different sectors, on addressing the information needs to inform efficient immunisation policies.
IOM will also present the latest developoments achieved within the EC DG SANTE/IOM action, Re-health2, and in particularly the developed Electronic Personal Health Record (E-PHR).
Furthermore, a platform to promote results of the EU Health Programme actions will be set up, giving IOM the opportunity to present project posters of Equi-Health, Re-Health as well as the developed Electronic Personal Health Record (E-PHR).
